Throughout the course of Jodi Lee's musical career as a singer songwriter and performer @ JRockRecords Music, Jodi Lee has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. Performing at a variety of venues, making dozens of appearances, all the while recording new singles at JRockRecords Music, Jodi Lee has earned the admiration and affection of countless fans, serving as both inspiration and role model.  Jodi Lee started out as a ballet dancer with the Boston Ballet and then moved to New York City to pursue a career as an actress in Musical Theater.  After learning to play guitar and crafting her vocal technique by studying operatic style training with her NY Metropolitan Opera teacher, she decided to write her own songs and sing them in a style that befit her. Inspired by the boys of rock n roll, she would often combine her ballet barre practice along with the music of many famous rock albums and rockers' songs. David Bowie, Ian Hunter, Neil Young, The Stones, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Elton John and any great band or songwriter that she could relate to. She figured if the boys could do it, then she could too!  It was after an audition/meeting with Music Producer David Foster, who supportively validated her song "Pieces" to be a "hit song", that Jodi Lee realized that she was indeed a great songwriter and had what it takes to write more great songs.
